CPC started in November 2005 the preparation of the integrated management system which includes quality "ISO 9001", safety "OHSAS 18001" and environment "ISO 14001".
As a first step, CPC set out the objective of the certification
program for safety according to the norm OHSAS 18001, and
for the environment according to the standard ISO 14001 for
June 2006.
The certification for quality according to
the Standard ISO 9001 was fixed for March 2007, as a second
step.
The certification Company AFAQ carried out the audit of certification
during the period from June 12, 2006 to June 17, 2006.
CPC obtained on July 14, 2006 the certification for safety and
environment without any no inconformity and remarks. This certification
is an important achievement for CPC on the road to “THE
EXCELLENCE". The Integrated Management System is based
on the continuous improvement, which is the leitmotiv of CPC.
Through this certification, CPC proves that its site at Radès
II is comparable with other power stations in the world and
particularly with those of the industrialized countries. This
certification is only one step among so many others towards
the creation of value in the life of the company.
